About the Conference
“International Symposium on Human Computer Interaction and Digital Transformation” is organized by the Education for Innovation Foundation, with the aim of promoting the scientific research.
“International Symposium on Human Computer Interaction and Digital Transformation” is an online conference where scholars present and discuss their research results on multidisciplinary topics in English and Turkish. The main theme of the conference is “Human Computer Interaction and Digital Transformation”.
Human Computer Interaction (HCI) is an interdisciplinary field of study that deals with the design, evaluation and implementation of interactive technologies. The field of Human Computer Interaction is related to human behaviour, psychology, cognitive sciences, computer technology, software engineering, ergonomics, graphic and industrial design, sociology, anthropology and educational sciences. Nowadays, Human Computer Interaction studies are gaining importance in terms of the increase in the population using computers, the protection of the reliability of institutions that provide their services using interactive technologies, the widespread use of critical technological applications, and the academic understanding of human behaviour and mental processes.
Studies in the field of HCI have revealed the fallacy of some of the currently accepted assumptions about the design and development of information systems. In particular, it is now widely recognised that excluding the end user from the design, development and testing process creates serious problems. This situation has led designers and information technology specialists to use platforms supported by scientific methods to evaluate the effectiveness of information systems. This symposium aims to understand new communication environments by addressing the field of human computer interaction.
Therefore, it will greatly contribute to science if scientific communities around the world share their knowledge to improve their agility and ability to face future challenges and keep pace with these developments. We will be honoured by your participation in this conference, which will contribute to scientific discussion and development.
